When making tunes on a shitty audio card, whit 20$ headphones, on 30$ Amazon computer speakers, with freeware.. listening on as many things as possible, and making tweaks to centralize the balance between all forms of sound delivery is of great benefit.
Consistency track to track should keep quality flowing. Mastering tools on final track will benefit.
Time to upgrade and get with the times.
Real sound system, real computer, real midi console, and the full paid version of the most up-to-date software.
Unfortunately my 2 kids, wife, and financial responsibilities will never allow.
So I make the best with what I can.
But figure maybe if people listen to my tunes, maybe they will support my work.
